Congressional Democrats Just Passed the Largest Ever Expansion of the Welfare State

Even the mainstream media outlet Politico recognizes that the Biden “Stimulus Bill” was, in truth, a massive expansion of social programs and liberal bailouts: 

“The approach suggests that Biden’s $1.9 trillion plan — as historic in size and scope as it is — could represent just the first step in a potentially significant expansion of the welfare state and a major shift toward enlarging the government's role…”

Analysis:

Biden’s Stimulus Bill had less to do with “stimulus” but was more of a stunning redistribution of federal tax dollars granted directly to liberal organizations or bailouts for the most liberal states, cities, and organizations helping elect Democrats. The Stimulus bill provided funds to liberal cities and states to pay off their debts existing prior to Covid. Cities like San Francisco, which has spent wildly and racked up huge deficits before the virus outbreak on liberal programs like giving direct payments to homeless, are now being bailed-out with your tax monies. 

Conclusion:

The Democrats very successfully implemented one of the largest redistributions of wealth since the New Deal. As one republican congressional leader stated: 

“Will this help the people get back to work? Nope. Will this help students get back in the classroom? Nope. But will it help vaccines get those who want it? Nope.

But will it help take care of 92 percent of San Francisco’s budget deficit? Oh yes, it will. Yes, it will.”
