Constitutional Conservative: Texas Approves New Steps to Creating Safe and Secure Elections
Analysis:
Like all states, Texas has a long history of voter fraud. In 2020, Harris County, the most populous county in the state, added 24 hour drive-through voting in parking lots where anyone could drive through and cast votes that were assumed to be legal. This violated all traditional election procedures in Texas and no doubt led to rampant election abuses.
Separately, Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, had to sue Harris County to block Harris County from sending ballots to every registered voter, in violation of Texas election law. Texas’ just enacted election reform bill prevents these attempts at contorting election outcomes from happening in the future.
Conclusion:
Democrats have a curious history of using any excuse and taking any step to win an election. Without commonsense election reform, the sanctity of the ballot is at risk.
