Constitutional Conservative: Pelosi Stacking the Deck Against Trump with Her Picks for Jan. 6th Commission.
Analysis:
The Democrat and Republican leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives each chose several members for the “bipartisan” commission to investigate the events of January 6th at the U.S. Capitol. Speaker Pelosi chose her anti-Trump nominees for the Commission, while Leader McCarthy chose his five nominees.
However, Pelosi rejected two Trump allies, Reps. Jim Jordan and Jim Banks (the two Jims). This is the first and only time a House Speaker has rejected the minority party’s choice of ranking members for a Select Committee. “Speaker Pelosi’s rejection of the Republican nominees to serve on the committee and self-appointment of members who share her pre-conceived narrative will not yield a serious investigation,” McCarthy wrote in a statement.
Conclusion:
Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats hate Trump and will stack the deck, even now, in a petty attempt to harm his legacy. The mainstream media will remain silent, if not in collusion, with the Left’s effort to further destroy the reputation of the former President.
