Constitutional Conservative: George P. Bush Attacks AG Paxton for Filing Election Contest at U.S. Supreme Court
Texas AG Race: George P. Bush Attacks AG Paxton for Filing Election Contest at U.S. Supreme Court
Analysis:
Another “low energy” Bush is trying to co-opt the pro-Trump conservative grassroots movement in a GOP primary – this time for Attorney General of Texas. George P. Bush is seeking to defeat incumbent Attorney General Ken Paxton, a fierce Trump defender. George P. is attacking Paxton for filing the lawsuit with the Supreme Court contesting several states' inappropriate or fraudulent votes during the last presidential election. Here's what Bush told the Houston Chronicle:
"Asked if he supported Paxton's efforts to overturn Biden's win, Bush faulted Paxton's legal strategy and claimed there were irregularities but acknowledged Biden's victory. No widespread corruption was found, and Trump's allegations of massive voting fraud also have been dismissed by a succession of judges and refuted by state election officials."
Conclusion:
“Low Energy” Jeb opposed President Trump in the 2016 GOP primary, and now George P. Bush says there were no widespread voting irregularities and is attacking Attorney General Paxton for being the one State’s Attorney General to file a brief contesting the big steal.
