Constitutional Conservative: Biden DOJ sues to prevent Texas from halting Administration’s COVID Catch and Release Plans

Analysis:

You read that headline correctly.  The Biden Administration is currently releasing illegal immigrants with COVID-19 all across South Texas.  Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order to authorizing Texas state troopers to pull over drivers transporting migrants who pose a risk of carrying COVID-19.  The Biden DOJ promptly sued to block the order.

Texas AG Ken Paxton responded in kind, stating the order was “much needed” and that “Until the Biden Administration abandoned its duty to secure the border, Texans face little threat to their public health from wave upon wave of illegal immigration at our southern border.”

Conclusion:

The Biden Border Crisis is a real and growing threat to our national security and public health.  That the Biden DOJ would rather spend time in court suing the State of Texas rather than enforce our immigration laws and secure our southern border speaks volumes.
