Constitutional Conservative: More Details Emerge of Green New Deal’s Victory in the $1.2 Trillion “Infrastructure” Bill
Analysis:
The Romney-RINOs are being further exposed. Romney and a handful of other RINOs helped make Schumer and AOC’s Green New Deal agenda “bipartisan.” The Romney RINOs claim they “won” or saved all of us real conservatives by making the horrible bill, less bad. Wow. By that standard they’ll win if they keep America limited to socialism – at least they’ll be protecting us from communism.
So, what exactly in that Trillion dollar “infrastructure” bill that isn’t roads, bridges or, you know, actual infrastructure? As the Wall Street Journal outlines there’s, $21 billion for the “Energy Department’s new Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations, otherwise known as Secretary Granholm’s green-energy venture-capital fund.” Then-Governor of Michigan Granholm similarly used a state slush fund to lose millions in Michigan tax dollars propping up private entities like Fisker Automotive, A123 Systems and other failed green-energy companies.
Oh, there’s more. $7.5 billion to construct new electric vehicle charging stations and $5 billion for “projects that demonstrate innovative approaches to transmission, storage, and distribution infrastructure to harden and enhance resilience and reliability”, wrote the Wall Street Journal.
Conclusion:
The Green New Deal is politically unpopular so it’s being implemented in pieces and under the guise of other policies, such as infrastructure. And, sadly, this is happening with the aid and political cover given by the Romney-RINOs and other timid Republicans claiming they are fixing bills by making them less bad. Green New Deal socialism is upon us, and the timid Republicans helping usher it into our lives seek praise from us claiming, it’s better than Green New Deal communism. How absurd.
